WE BUILD

Our new build programme is about creating homes that are affordable and easy to live in. We’re designing places that use less energy, cut carbon emissions, and help lower household bills – making sustainable living more accessible for our tenants.

At the same time, we’re investing in positive neighbourhood contributions. Through nature-positive actions our developments will protect local nature and create more resilient neighbourhoods in a changing climate. We’re investing in homes that support our tenants, restore nature, and set a new benchmark for sustainable development across the UK.

WE WILL:

Ensure all of our homes are built to a minimum level of energy efficiency (EPC B or above)

Ensure all of our homes are built in-line with the proposed industry leading net zero carbon building standard (NZCBS)

Reduce our environmental impact by lowering the carbon emissions associated with the build process

Have nature-positive resilience by targeting the onsite delivery of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), where required

Utilise low-carbon technologies for heating, and cooling, where relevant, that are accessible to our tenants.
